Lip enlargement
There can be used several procedures to enlarge lips. The most used non-surgical method is application of hyaluronic acid into the lip. One of the preferred surgical methods is a surgery that uses own lip mucosa (so-called V-Y method). Another option is insertion of own tissue into the lip (fat, fascia) or a skin excision right above the lip border. There remain tiny scars in women by this last method though. The swelling after lip augmentation fades away within a week. The sutures are then removed and the lip stabilizes in two months. Possible complications associated with lip enhancement are for example infection in the wound, lip asymmetry, etc.
