Breast reduction
Breast reduction surgery is a treatment with medical and aesthetic indications. The surgeon reaches not only aesthetic results but also reduction of burden and pain moderation of back and nape. An excessive breast enlargement is caused for example by weight gain and hypertrophy of a mammary gland. Before the actual treatment the patient must undergo a mammography and ultrasound examination. The surgery takes 2 to 2,5 hours. The drains are removed in 2 days after the surgery. The patient wears a special elastic bra after the removal of bandage for approximately 6 weeks.
