Breast surgery - asymmetry
Breast asymmetry is in most of the cases congenital defect and very often caused by incongruous growth of each breast or even also by an arched chest. It can often occur during life, for example in the puberty or after breast feeding. Usually the surgeon adheres to the smaller breast not only in size but also in location of an areola and a nipple. The opposite cases are not an exception, when smaller breast is enlarged to the size of the larger one. The surgeon chooses the method after a consultation with the patient. It is necessary to wear elastic bra in the following weeks after the surgery.
