Abdominoplasty
Abdominiplasty surgically solves excess fat, skin and loosened or diastatic abdominal muscles. The result is removal of sagging or protruding abdomen caused for example by pregnancy, weight reduction or deformation of abdominal muscles. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and it takes 1 – 2,5 hours depending on the extent of the procedure. Two days hospitalization is needed, during which the patient has a drainage. Abdominoplasty is slightly painful and therefore the patient gets analgesics after the surgery. In most of the cases the effect of the surgery is permanent. The patient must be on a diet and exercise according to the surgeon's recommendation.
